Da'von RICHARDSON Obituary
Da'von attended Hampton Public Schools and then later obtained his diploma and barber license in 2009. He expressed an interest in pursuing a career in the Navy. Da'von was loved by everyone who knew him. Da'von was a fun person to be around. He always made you laugh and made sure you always had fun around him. Da'von loved to play with his little cousins. He had a cheerful smile that would brighten your day. He will be deeply missed.
Da'von was preceded in death by his grandmothers, Kate O. Robinson, Estelle Mines and Agnes Richardson; and aunts, Alice M. Robinson and Mary Edith Robinson.
Da'von leaves to cherish his memory his father, David V. Robinson; mother, Tere L. Richardson; grandparents, Alfred Robinson Sr. of Newport News, Va., Richard Richardson of Hampton, Va., and Gloria J. Richardson also of Hampton; one brother, Salik Wynn of Hampton; sister, Kahdre Williams of Philadelphia, Pa.; godparents, Kimberly Overby and Derrick Whitley of Newport News; best friend, Tyquan Woods of Hampton; a host of aunts, uncles, cousins and special friends.
A viewing will be held from 1 to 6 p.m. Tuesday, Oct. 26, 2010, at the funeral home. A funeral service will be held at noon Wednesday, Oct. 27, 2010, at Cornerstone Assembly of God, 55 Tidemill Lane, Hampton, with Pastor Gerard Ruff, officiating. Interment will follow in Hampton Memorial Gardens, 155 Butler Farm Road, Hampton. Family and friends will assemble by 10:45 a.m. Wednesday, Oct. 27, at 33 Clayton Drive, Hampton, VA 23669. The family ask that any monetary donations be forwarded to Nickelson-Cummings Funeral Home.
