Dewey,
During these last six months I have learned from you and you have learned from me. We have taught each other forgiveness and love. Even though you were ill, we shared some very special moments. I will never forget those times. I will miss our spontaneous road trips and our late night chats. I'll miss your sense of humor and your source of strength. You were a true gentleman until the end. There wasn't a hand you didn't want to shake no matter how weak you were and you always thanked them for coming by to see you. You were a man who deeply loved his family and God. Thank for so much for allowing me to be a part of your life. You are greatly missed and loved.

I have enjoyed the years associated with Dewey and his store. He has always been a bright spot on route 17, and a great aid to all of us that patronized his store. God bless the family left behind, and thank you Dewey, another of the greatest generation gone from us!

I've known Dewey and the Ragan family for 43 years and always enjoyed their friendship. I went to church and worked part-time with them. I moved from Yorktown to Verona Va in 1998 but every time I visited the area I always tried to visit Western Auto and catchup on all the latest news and the Ragan family. Dewey was a real christian gentelman. Our lost is God's gain as I know Dewey is doing something great in Heaven!!!! God Bess the Ragan family. Love, Corkie Collie

My prayers and thoughts go out to all of the Ragans family at the passing of Mr Ragans. He was a big part of York county for many years.
He will always be known for owning the Western Auto Store in Grafton for many years and his involvement in Seaford Baptist Church. His family were also involved with the YORK-SEAFORD Bulldogs youth football league for many years.I went to school with Barbara and Milton and worked with Duane on Bulldogs football league.
Again my prayers go out to the entire Ragans family at your loss of Mr. Ragans.

Uncle Dewey you are in my prayers and in my heart as you make your journey to our Lord and Savior. I know you told me that you were ready, but I guess in reality those left behind are never ready to see a loved one leave us so soon. I have alot of memories that will stay with me.
Aunt Colleen, Barbara, Milton, Duane, and to all the grand and great grand babies I send a prayer to you and it goes:
Thank you Lord for the time that you gave us with Uncle Dewey and for the way he touched each and everyone of our lives as a loving husband and father, a loving Grand and great-grandfather, a loving Uncle and a friend to everyone he met. Help him on his journey and Help his family in their hearts to know that he is with us each and everyday. We love you
In Jesus Christ we Pray AMEN
