Doris FOX Obituary

HONEY BROOK, PA. - Doris M. Fox, 96, formerly of Newport News, Va., passed away Jan. 7, 2010, at 1:15 a.m. in Hickory House Nursing Home, where she resided since April of 2008.
She was the widow of Robert F. Fox who passed away in 1995. Born in Erie, Pa., on May 29, 1913, she was the daughter of the late Carl and Emma (Swanson) Faulhaber.
Mrs. Fox was a lifetime musician and organist for more than 75 years in Erie, Pa.; New York City, N.Y.; Newport News, Va., and Santee, S.C. She was a member of St. Mark's Lutheran Church in Yorktown, Va.
She is survived by a sister Marion (Faulhaber) Daily in Ponte Vedra, Fla., and many nieces and nephews.
Services will be at the convenience of the family.
Bean Funeral Home and Crematory, 6 Fairlane Road, Exeter Twp., is in charge of arrangements.

Doris was a wonderful neighbor and friend and we miss her very much. We enjoyed lunches, drives, and just sitting and talking. She was an inspiration to us all.
