Dorothea JAMISON Obituary
Dorothea leaves to cherish her memory, her loving husband, Jimmie 'Darrell' Jamison; her three sons, Simeon 'Toby' Rhanes of Newport News, Va., Chaplain Anthony (Elder Belinda) Rhanes of Hinesville, Ga., and Kevin (Manuela) Rhanes of Germany; one special brother-in- law, Aldo 'Ray' (Teresa) Williams of Charlotte, N.C.; six grandchildren, one great-granddaughter; three sisters, Michelle Thierry (Donald), Jacqueline Jackson, and Joyce Jackson, all of Hampton; three brothers, Michael Jackson (Evetta) of Newport News, William Jackson of Williamsburg, Va., and Gregory (Carolina) Jackson of Palmdale, Calif.; and a host of aunts, nephews, nieces, cousins and friends.
A Homegoing Service will be held at New Life Church on Saturday, Sept. 4, at 11 a.m. Funeral arrangements entrusted to Fisher Funeral Home. Viewing will be from noon to 6 p.m. Sept. 3, 2010. Brother Jimmie, I am sorry for your loss. Look to Jesus who is the author and finisher of your faith. Let the peace of God come and and take control. Cry your tears all you want and then after that remember the good times you had with Dot. God will step in and comfort you like no one else can. Jimmie & Family,
My deepest sympathy goes to all of you. Your hearts will be heavy for sometime, but know that your wife/mother will be by your side always. Dot was a wonderful person who welcomed me to Virginia and to her family with open arms. I will truly miss visiting with her. May God help you each day.
