Dorothy DEASE Obituary

HAYES - Dorothy 'Dot' J. Dease, 68, originally from Pennsylvania passed away on Sunday, Sept. 26, 2010, at Riverside Walter Reed Hospital.
Dorothy was associated with Bay Aging, where she loved helping others. She also worked at Poland's Supermarket. Dorothy enjoyed her family, life and was always willing to help someone in need. She will be dearly missed.
Her parents, Daniel and Laura Rothenberger; husband, Karl Dease; brothers, William Fasig and John Fasig; sisters, Eva Schaffer and Florence Hieash preceded her in death.
She is survived by her daughter, Kim West and Michael Koeppen of Hayes, Va.; sons, Brian Rothenberger and wife, Kelly of Ladysmith, Va., Blain Rothenberger and wife, Janet of Hayes, Va.; grandchildren, Ashley Rothenberger of Stafford, Va., Hayley Rothenberger of Hayes, Va.; seven siblings, sisters, Mary Messersmith of State College, Pa., Barbara Showers of Reading, Pa. Kathleen Oswald of Gloucester, Va., Doris Wesner of Temple, Pa., Betty Beeman of Hartwood, Va., brothers, Stanley Fasig of Reading, Pa., and Francis Rothenberger of Laureldale, Pa. She is also survived by many nieces, nephews and great-nieces and nephews.
The family will receive friends from 7 to 8:30 p.m. Friday, Oct. 1, 2010, at Hogg Funeral Home, Gloucester Point.
