Dorothy HART Obituary

VIRGINIA BEACH - Dorothy Monica Hart, 88, passed away Nov. 5, 2010 at her home.
She is survived by her husband of 65 years, Raymond J. Hart, Colonel, USAF(ret.); four sons, M. Scott Hart and wife, Bobbie of Virginia Beach, Victor J. Hart and wife, Cynthia of Boulder, Colo., R. Terrence Hart and wife. Robin of Boulder, Colo., and Stephen K. Hart of Phoenix, Ariz.; six grandchildren, Jenny, Donnie, Tim, Anna, Jay, and Audrey; and two great-grandchildren.
She was preceded in death by a son, Kevin R. Hart, formerly of Williamsburg.
Dorothy was a member of St. Bede Catholic Church in Williamsburg for 30 years. She was a graduate of Marshall University, finishing with a degree in chemistry. She worked as a chemist and airline stewardess, and later devoted her life to her family and faith.
The family will receive friends from 6 to 7 p.m. Wednesday, at Hollomon-Brown Funeral Home, Great Neck Chapel; and at 11 a.m. Thursday at St. Bede Catholic Church in Williamsburg. A mass of the resurrection will be conducted at noon Thursday, at St. Bede Catholic Church. Burial will follow in Williamsburg Memorial Park. Heartfelt sympathies for the Hart Family on your loss. I had several occasions to meet and talk with Dorothy in years past - she was a lovely lady.
