Grandma it's been over a year since you've passed over. The Clematis is in bloom and sending its beautiful aroma in and around the house. I've had several new visitors to the place whether they come on wings or by foot. Out of habit I think of you and want to pick up the phone to share the story, but of course I can't. Instead I send my story to the heavens in hopes it reaches you. I still miss you and love you very much Witchy Poo!!!!

With all the love I have in my heart,

Petunia

Grandma showed me what unconditional love was -- for that I am eternally grateful. She was my rock, my mentor, my hero, and above all else "My Girl". She instilled in me a great love of the awe of nature and the simple pleasures of a traveling a country road just to find out where you'd end up. I will miss our weekend conversations about the wayward wildlife that came to visit me and her stories of family and friends she held so dear. To say I miss her is an understatement, but I am happy that she is with her Lord and those who passed before her.

I love you Witchy Poo!!

Forever,

Your "Petunia"
