Efrem CHANDLER Obituary
Efrem was born Oct. 8, 1965, in Hampton, Va. He left the Hampton Roads area after graduating from Phoebus High School and went to Arizona seeking out his own path for life.
He is survived by his daughter, Olivia Dewitt; mother and stepfather, Margaret and Calvin King; his natural father, Cofield Manley; his brothers, Sandy Michael Chandler Jr., Raymond Davis, and Linwood Davis; his sisters, Margueritte Chandler, Ja'Donna Tirado and Cassandra Blythe; nieces and nephews, aunts and uncles and many cousins.
He is preceded in death by a son; grandparents; his adopted father, Sandy Michael Chandler Sr.; and a brother, Kevin Manley.
A memorial service will be held at 6 p.m. Saturday, Oct. 9, at Morning Star Baptist Church, 2717 N. Armistead Ave., Hampton, Va. Please call the church for directions, 757-766-1165. View and post condolences on our online guestbook at dailypress.com/guestbooks.

hey all of you..been there lost "Pop"too.i will remeber Efrem as the sweet,loving young man that always had his hand on my shoulder as tho he was protecting me..he was a big softee that always had something nice to say...wow the memories are overwhelming...love to the essex park family..dawn

Buddy, as we knew him at Mama Rosa's was one of our first employees. He was such a lively character. He kept us all laughing even when he was in trouble for goofing off or clowning, Buddy would laugh and give you a big bear hug so you could not fuss for long. I will always see him scrunching into that blue Chevette to take deliveries with that big grin on his face. We will miss you, go in peace. Rita and Joe
