Eleanor MANION Obituary

GLOUCESTER - Eleanor M. Manion, 68, died Sept. 9, 2010 at Riverside Walter Reed Hospital.
She was born in New Hampshire, grew up and resided in Vermont until 1986, when she moved to Gloucester, Va. She was retired from Split Ball Bearing Company. Ellie loved horses, and enjoyed many hours of shopping through magazines. She was respectful, thoughtful and very free spoken. Ellie took pride in her family and was very devoted in caring for them. She will be missed and always remembered by her entire family.
Her father, William Joseph Gaudette; and daughter, Vicki Johnson preceded her in death.
She is survived by her husband, Russell W. Manion; children, Rusty Johnson and wife, Kelly, B. J. Halter, Jennifer Marcou, Thomas Marcou; mother, Doris Dion; sister, Terri Lynn Grant and husband, Russell; brother, Dennis Gaudette and wife, Julie; 14 grandchildren and one great-grandchild.
The family will receive friends from 7 to 8:30 p.m. Monday, Sept. 13, 2010, at Hogg Funeral Home, Gloucester Point. Private interment will be later in New Hampshire. View and post condolences on our online guestbook at dailypress.com/guestbooks.
