Eleanor MANION Obituary
She was born in New Hampshire, grew up and resided in Vermont until 1986, when she moved to Gloucester, Va. She was retired from Split Ball Bearing Company. Ellie loved horses, and enjoyed many hours of shopping through magazines. She was respectful, thoughtful and very free spoken. Ellie took pride in her family and was very devoted in caring for them. She will be missed and always remembered by her entire family.
Her father, William Joseph Gaudette; and daughter, Vicki Johnson preceded her in death.
She is survived by her husband, Russell W. Manion; children, Rusty Johnson and wife, Kelly, B. J. Halter, Jennifer Marcou, Thomas Marcou; mother, Doris Dion; sister, Terri Lynn Grant and husband, Russell; brother, Dennis Gaudette and wife, Julie; 14 grandchildren and one great-grandchild.
The family will receive friends from 7 to 8:30 p.m. Monday, Sept. 13, 2010, at Hogg Funeral Home, Gloucester Point. Private interment will be later in New Hampshire. View and post condolences on our online guestbook at dailypress.com/guestbooks.

I am very sorry to hear about your loss. Ellie was a classmate of mine in West Lebanon High School. I haven't seen her for years but I remember her as being very pretty and full of life.

Russ U shocked me so bad when u called I did not know what to say, You know how I felt about this wonderful special lady u were married to.I will miss her so much, she helped me so much when I lost Robert calling and checking on me!
