Elizabeth HOLDEN Obituary
Born Oct. 7, 1938, in Baltimore, Md., to Robert and Elizabeth Kosker, she retired from the Civil Service, where she worked as a system analyst. Elizabeth had been a resident of the Peninsula area for 10 years where she was a member of Our Lady of Mt. Carmel Roman Catholic Church.
Elizabeth will be lovingly remembered by her surviving children, daughter, Linda A. Rowe of Waxhaw, N.C.; sons, Michael J. Holden of Hampton, Patrick S. Holden of Charlotte, N.C., Peter J. Holden of Lanexa, Va., Joseph P. Holden of Lanexa, Robert V. Holden of Bedford, N.H., and James F. Holden of Williamsburg; 14 grandchildren and five great-grandchildren.
A memorial service will be held at 10 a.m. Saturday, July 10, 2010, at Our Lady of Mt. Carmel Roman Catholic Church. The family will receive friends from 9 to 10 a.m., immediately following, Mass will be celebrated by the Rev. Kenneth E. Wood.

Dear Holden Family, Please know that our hearts and prayers have been lifted for you in this time of Betty's departure. We pray for God's comfort and peace to surround each of you as you say good-bye to your Mother. We give thanks for being a small part of your family.
