I couldn't get to the cemetary, but I considered Betty a friend. My thoughts and prayers are with her family. Nick

God bless Aunt Betty and welcome her Home with loving arms. We have so many vivid and sweet memories of her… she and Uncle Bob were always there for me as a child, through good times and a few really tough ones, and I loved spending time at her house. Many years later, my kids loved hanging out with her just as much. She connected so wonderfully with children -- when you were loved by Aunt Betty, you really knew it. And she was loved, too. The Wizard of Oz said it best: "A heart is judged not by how much you love, but by how much you are loved by others." Betty was loved.
I’m hoping she is spending the rest of eternity cradled in joy and peace, things that could be hard to come by in this life.

We would like to say what a pleasure it was cleaning for Betty. It started as a job but quickly she became a dear friend. She would always ask us "would you like a coke?" And when we would leave we would always get a hug and she would say"have a good day and please be careful and thank you friend."Even as Betty became so ill she would still think of us.We admire her courage, strenght and kindness. We thank God,for the time with Betty and getting to know some of her wonderful family.God Bless all of you.Rest friend.

TO ALL OF MY EAST COAST FAMILY...I AM HEARTBROKEN THAT I CANNOT BE THERE WITH YOU TO SHARE OUR MEMORIES OF SO MANY WONDERFUL TIMES WITH OUR SISTER/AUNT, AND FRIEND TO SO MANY. I KNOW THAT BOB TOOK HER HAND AND GUIDED HER TO OUR HEAVENLY HOME, AND FOR HER, THAT WAS HER FIRST REAL HAPPINESS SINCE BOB PASSED AWAY MAY 16, 1988. I'M HAPPY THAT SHE IS ONCE AGAIN WITH THE LOVE OF HER LIFE, BUT SAD FOR OUR LOSS. I'M NOT PHYSICALLY ALLOWED TO TRAVEL AT THIS TIME AS ALL OF YOU KNOW, BUT I WILL BE WITH YOU AT PARKLAWN TOMORROW SHARING OUR LOSS, SHEDDING TEARS OF LOVE, AND ALWAYS WISHING I COULD HAVE HAD ONE MORE HUG AND AN "I LOVE YOU DEARLY, MY LOVING SISTER." IT'S TIMES LIKE THIS THAT IT IS SO DIFFICULT BEING SO FAR AWAY FROM HOME. BETTY'S SUFFERING IS FINALLY OVER...UNFORTUNATELY OURS BEGINS. I WILL MISS YOU UNTIL WE MEET AGAIN, AND ALWAYS REMEMBER THE MANY FUN TIMES WE SHARED, AND ALL OF THE LOVING SUPPORT YOU AND BOB GAVE TO ME AND MY CHILDREN SO MANY TIMES. REST IN PEACE, SWEET SISTER. BILLIE PELTON, WALLA WALLA, WA.
