Elwood FERGUSON Obituary
Elwood was born in Schuyler, Va., on Feb. 5, 1916. He retired from the Newport News Shipbuilding & Drydock Company after 45 years of service. He was a member of the Central United Methodist Church.
He was preceded in death by his parents, four brothers, and four sisters.
Elwood is survived by Ethel M. Ferguson, his wife of 62 years; and brother, Jay Ferguson of Midlothian, Va.; one stepdaughter, Ann De Shazor; and one stepson, William Krause.
Visitation will be from 1 to 2 p.m. Tuesday, Dec. 5, at Peninsula Funeral Home, with services at 2 p.m., officiated by the Rev. Cheryl Simmons. Burial will follow at Peninsula Memorial Park.
