In My Pocket

I have memories in my pocket.
They rattle among the change.

My memories of you are treasures I carry wherever I go.

They are stored in bits and pieces, parts of a beautiful whole
They give me comfort when I think I am alone.

Yes, I have memories in my pocket, like so much other stuff I keep there.

But of all the treasures I have, it’s the memories of you that are the most precious.

Dear "H"
I am so sorry for your loss I use to enjoy the talk we use to share about our mothers and the way thing were when we were growing up. I know you have been truly blessed to have had her as long as you did, but I know it is still not easy losing her. I am asking God to put his hand of protection around your family at this time and may you continue to be abundantly blessed H.

(Grandma Harris) as I always called her, at home or at Dialysis, was a wise woman, the Lord wanted to bring her to his Kingdom and she said many times she was ready to go. She is in Heaven and will always be in my heart. May the Lord give you the strength to have the peace you need to carry you through this process of grief.
