Ernest SHINE Obituary

SHACKLEFORDS - Ernest J. Shine Jr., 85, of Shacklefords, Va., passed away April 10, 2010.
He was a WW II veteran and retired from New York State Hospital. Ernest was a life member of the VFW and American Legion.
He was preceded in death by his daughter, Diane Marie Kelsey.
Ernest is survived by his wife of 58 years, Barbara Shine; two daughters, Linda Lail and her husband, Bruce, and Barbara Payne and her husband, Roger; one son, Joseph Shine and his wife, Cheryl; one sister, Helen King; one brother, Arthur Shine; and many grandchildren and great-grandchildren.
A funeral service will be held at 11 a.m. Thursday, April 15, at Brett Reid Presbyterian Church, King William, with burial following in the church cemetery. The family will receive friends from 6 to 8 p.m. Wednesday, April 14, at Vincent Funeral Home, West Point. Condolences can be registered at www.vincentfh.com.
