Ethel Flory Obituary

YORKTOWN - Ethel Burcher Flory, 89, passed away on Friday, April 17, 2009.
Mrs. Flory was a native and lifelong resident of Yorktown, Va. She was a graduate of Poquoson High School and a member of Grafton Christian Church. Ethel retired after 20 years with Fishman Department Store in Hampton.
Mrs. Flory was preceded in death by her husband, Charles Flory; her parents, Clinton and Fannie Burcher; a brother, Clyde Burcher; and a sister, Annie Wilson; and nephew, Charles E. Wilson.
She is survived by her brother, Mack Burcher of Poquoson; and six nieces, Frances Hubbard, Doris Flory, Amy Robinson, Mary Wilson, Betty Gongea and Pearl Thomas; three nephews, Barry, Tommy, and Clyde Burcher.
A funeral service will be held at 11 a.m. Monday, April 20, 2009, in Amory Funeral Home Chapel by the Rev. Paul Parker. Burial will follow in Grafton Christian Church Cemetery. The family will receive friends 1 hour prior to the service.
