Eugene BRACKEN Obituary

VIRGINIA BEACH - On Aug. 27, 2010, Eugene Eason Bracken passed away, in Virginia Beach, Va..
He was the beloved husband of the late Mary Elizabeth Carroll Bracken; dear father of Carroll Bracken, and Frances Bracken and her husband, John; devoted brother of Eileen Caslow, Kathleen Bedard, and the late Jerome, Gerald, Emmett, John, Thomas, and Sister Agnes Eileen Bracken, OSF. He is also survived by loving nieces and nephews.
Friends may call at the family owned Mitchell-Wiedefeld Funeral Home, Inc., 6500 York Road, Baltimore, Md., on Monday from 2 to 4 p.m. and 7 to 9 p.m. A funeral Mass will be offered Tuesday, 10 a.m., at SS Philip and James Church, with interment in New Cathedral Cemetery.
In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions may be made to the Virginia Beach Volunteer Rescue Squad, 740 Virginia Beach Blvd., Virginia Beach, VA 23451 (www.rescue.com) View and post condolences on our online guestbook at dailypress.com/guestbooks.
