Everette BUNTING Obituary
Bubba was raised in Hampton and had been a resident of Newport News for 27 years. He was a hard worker and had many hobbies including fishing, hunting, and spending quality time with his family. Bubba touched the lives of many and was loved by all who knew him. He was a proud Christian man and will be remembered for his sense of humor and gentle disposition, but mostly for his love and devotion to his family.
He was preceded in death by his father, Everette Hastings Bunting, Sr. On this sad day, our Bubba leaves behind his loving wife of 28 years, Lisette; and their three beloved children, Gabrielle Stewart and husband, Daniel, Beau Bunting and wife, Abby, and their pride and joy, Abigail Rose. They also shared one grandson, Samuel James Stewart. Also leaving behind, his mother, Shirley Bunting; two sisters, Debbie West and Lynn Adkins; and brother "Butch" Bunting. His memory will live on in our hearts forever.
The family will receive friends from 1 to 1:45 p.m. Monday, Nov. 22, 2010, at Weymouth Funeral Home. A celebration of life service will follow at 2 p.m., in the Weymouth Funeral Home Chapel. Interment will be private.
In lieu of flowers, donations may be made in the name of Abigail Bunting Education Fund. Please forward to 11712 Jefferson Avenue, St. C-442, Newport News, VA 23606.

I am so sorry, I just heard this yesterday as I had not seen this in the paper! I grew up with Bubba and Butch. I hadn't seen Bubba in a lot of years and fondly remember those long-ago days of just "being boys" around Fox Hill...and especially getting my football coaching start with them at ASbury in '76. You all have my deepest condolences - Bubba was defintely too young to leave us!

Hard to beleive 45 years have past since those days at Francis Asbury and Fox Hill when I first met him.
Bubba will be missed but not forgotten.
