Dr. John and Linda,
My deepest sympathy is with you on the loss of your Dad. He was one of a kind and a joy to be around. We have missed him for some time at our Thursday breakfasts where we had great times together. I'm sorry that I've been out of town since Tuesday Nov 10th and had to miss his memorial service. May God give you comfort and peace during this time of grief.

Dear John & Linda - We share a wonderful heritage - great fathers. Dad was so fond of Floyd and he loved to drop by and check on the garden. I did not know your father well but he was a friend to George, which is all I need to know. I carry a small bit of your grief. To the family of Mr. Lockhart:
You most likely do not know me, but surfice to say I was your dad's #1 tomatoe buyer! He was a delighful man and oh, how I shall miss him especially next summer. I would drive up and ring the bell and he and Bo would come out of the old house and he'd say, "So you back for more of my t'matoes!" We'd talk while I purchased my ususal 6 lb. (yes, I love tomatoes!) while Bo would bark and happily run at his feet. I'd hug him good by and tell him I'd see him next week. Little did I know.. My condolances on your loss....please take good care of Bo. I shall miss them both so much!
