Frank WATSON Obituary

SIMPSONVILLE, S.C. - Frank Watson was born on Feb. 9, 1939, in Scotland Neck, N.C.
He served for three years with the U.S. Army and received an honorable discharge. He settled in Paterson, N.J., and was employed by Bendix in Teterboro, N.J. While working for Bendix, he earned his bachelor degree from William Paterson College and continued his education and earned his Juris Doctorate from Seton Hall University. He retired and moved to Simpsonville, S.C., where he remained until May 23, 2010, when the Lord came to take him to his heavenly home.
He is survived by four children, Lorraine M. Watson, William F. Watson, Michelle R. Watson and Spring C. Watson; three grandchildren, Anthony, Danny, and Alona; three sisters, Miss Annie Mae Watson, Mrs. Dorethea Batts (Matthew), Ms. Idell Watson Mitchell; a host of nieces, nephews and relatives, including a special friend, Ms. Sydney Jones.
As he has departed from this place, we will miss his spirit and his aim of the camera, which was his true passion.
Viewing will be held from 6 to 8 p.m. Tuesday, June 1, 2010, at the M.E. Fisher Funeral Home. A funeral service will be held at 10 a.m. Wednesday, June 2, 2010, at St. Timothy Church of Christ Holiness-USA, 1711 Madison Ave., NN, VA. Interment will follow at Greenlawn Cemetery, with military honors. Services of celebration and remembrance are entrusted to the M. E.
