NEWPORT NEWS - Apostle Gene W Boyd, was the CHURCH Apostle for Tower of Deliverance Fellowship, Inc. He was also the founder of this "Portion of the Body of CHRIST, through the leading of the LORD. This World-wide Fellowship, which is located throughout the USA, Europe and Pacific; serves the needs of the Children of GOD. Having been in the Ministry since 1972, he has seen the power of GOD in his life. He received his Apostleship in 1983, in Dover, Delaware. Apostle Boyd's walk with the LORD has been indeed an exciting one. It was the LORD who directed him to return for service in the military and to ministry to those souls in need. Receiving this direction Fellowships were established in Italy, Greece, Turkey, Belgium, England, Germany and the USA. Having focus on the vision to which the LORD gave him, he has since established a Church Headquarters and Centers to which the Church can operate from. Many new Fellowships have been established under his direction. There are two (2) concerns to which he had dedicated his life to, the first is "Reconciliation of Souls back to GOD" and the second, feeding the Children of GOD properly, in spirit and in truth. Focus on these concerns, led him to create and establish a Church Structure which would be dedicated to the "Children of GOD". Their needs first and NOT the organization or the leadership. He was married to his lifetime friend and partner Carol R. Boyd, Prophetess and Daughter of GOD. Both are college educated and strived to encourage their offspring to be like wise. They have been bless to have had nine (9) children together in the LORD: Teacher Christopher Boyd (Mika), Teacher Gina Boyd, Prophetess Ruth Pe¿a-Boyd (Jairo), Sis Sarah Milbrodt, Prophetess Rachel Boyd, Teacher Michael Boyd, Teacher Mary Boyd, Minister Phillip Miller (Andrea); and 8 grandchildren. It has been his effort to up hold the standards of a Family before all. The home going service will be 12:00 p.m. Monday, March 17, 2014 at the Messiah Center, 1421 W. Pembroke Ave. Hampton, VA.
