Gerald Brown Obituary

SHACKLEFORDS - Gerald J. Brown, 80, of Shacklefords, Va., passed from this life Nov. 14, 2009, after a long illness.
He is survived by his wife, Catherine 'Jean' Brown of Shacklefords, Va.; son, Randy M. Brown of Serverna Park, Md.; daughter, Darlene K. Seeley and husband, Richard, of West Point, Va.; brother, Ralph G. Brown of Cortland, N.Y.; granddaughter, Crystal M. Palenski; and two great-grandchildren of King William, Va.
He served in the United States Army as a welding instructor from 1950-1952.
Services were private. The family will receive relatives and friends from 4 to 8 p.m. Monday, Nov. 16, 2009, at the family home, 185 Airville Road, Shacklefords, VA 23156.
