Gladys WILSON Obituary

GLOUCESTER - Gladys DeWeese Wilson, 81, passed away on Friday, Nov. 27, 2009.
She was a native of Rocky Fort, Tenn., and had been a resident of Gloucester for 25 years. She was a member of Temple Baptist Church, an avid gardener, and enjoyed quilting.
Preceding her in rest is her beloved daughter.
Surviving members of her family include her husband of 40 years, Robert C. Wilson; one son; eight grandchildren; 14 great-grandchildren; two great-great-grandchildren; and two sisters.
The family will receive friends on Sunday afternoon, Nov. 29, 2009, from 3 to 5 p.m., at Parklawn – Wood Funeral Home. A funeral service will be held on Monday afternoon, Nov. 30, at 2 p.m., at the funeral home. Interment will be in Parklawn Memorial Park.

I only had three friends in this world and Gladys and Robert are two of them--Gladys was to me my adopted mother.I will miss her greatly
