Gordon LAMBERT Obituary
Gordon was born on July 10, 1942, in Addison, Ohio, to the late Robert and Garnet Lambert. Gordon served six years in the U.S. Air Force and three years in the Army National Guard. He was employed at Moore's Auto Repair, Newport News, Va.
Gordon was a devoted husband, father, and grandfather. He enjoyed spending time with his grandchildren and loved going hunting. He was a member of Bethel Temple in Hampton, Va., where he served as an usher and service leader.
He is preceded in death by two granddaughters, Payton and Ryleigh Lambert.
He leaves behind a family that will cherish the memories they had with him.
He leaves his wife of 27 years, Nola Lambert; two daughters, Rachel A.
Wright and husband, James, and Elizabeth Lambert; one son, David Lambert; three grandsons and four granddaughters; and two brothers, Keith Lambert and James Lambert.
A memorial service will be held at 2 p.m. Thursday, Dec. 9, 2010, in the Bethel Temple Life Center Chapel. Burial will take place in Harrisonville, Ohio. View and post condolences on our online guestbook at dailypress.com/guestbooks.

We are so very sorry for the loss of your husband Gordon. Please remember he is still with you and now he is also with the Lord not in pain and singing all day long. He is watching over you and anytime you need him, he will be there right beside you listening to your every word. Please take care and if you need us for anything at all...just call...

Nola and family,
I am so incredibly sorry for the loss of Gordon. What a very precious person he was and a most amazing servant of the Lord. He truly is in a much better place, whole and healthy.
