Gordon LAMBERT Obituary

HAMPTON - Gordon Eugene Lambert went to be with the Lord on Monday, Dec. 6, 2010, at the Veterans Hospital in Hampton, Va.
Gordon was born on July 10, 1942, in Addison, Ohio, to the late Robert and Garnet Lambert. Gordon served six years in the U.S. Air Force and three years in the Army National Guard. He was employed at Moore's Auto Repair, Newport News, Va.
Gordon was a devoted husband, father, and grandfather. He enjoyed spending time with his grandchildren and loved going hunting. He was a member of Bethel Temple in Hampton, Va., where he served as an usher and service leader.
He is preceded in death by two granddaughters, Payton and Ryleigh Lambert.
He leaves behind a family that will cherish the memories they had with him.
He leaves his wife of 27 years, Nola Lambert; two daughters, Rachel A.
Wright and husband, James, and Elizabeth Lambert; one son, David Lambert; three grandsons and four granddaughters; and two brothers, Keith Lambert and James Lambert.
A memorial service will be held at 2 p.m. Thursday, Dec. 9, 2010, in the Bethel Temple Life Center Chapel. Burial will take place in Harrisonville, Ohio. View and post condolences on our online guestbook at dailypress.com/guestbooks.

Nola and family,

I am so incredibly sorry for the loss of Gordon. What a very precious person he was and a most amazing servant of the Lord. He truly is in a much better place, whole and healthy.
