Gwendolyn LYNCH Obituary
She was a native of Halifax County, N.C., but had been a resident of the Hampton Roads area for over 40 years.
To cherish her memory, she leaves her mother, Rachel Lee Hall-Lynch; a very special friend, Charles Shine; her sons, Hubert 'Chuckie,' Willie and Pernell Lynch; her daughters, Gwendolyn Lynch and Theresa Lynch McCoy(Marcel); grandchildren, Darryl, Jalessa, Dejourna, Shauntia, Jessica, Jazmine, Alexeus, Tyre and Kayley; close family friends, Lillian Pearl Brown, Betty Copling, Michelle Curney, Jean McCargo, Shelia Little; and goddaughter, Chasity Little.
The family will receive friends from 3 to 8 p.m. Monday, Sept. 13, 2010, at the funeral home. The homegoing celebration will be held at 1 p.m. Tuesday, Sept. 14, 2010, at the funeral home. The interment will follow the service at Hampton Memorial Gardens. The family will assemble at 60 Azalea Dr., Hampton, VA.
