With these few lines we say farewell to a gentleman and a truly gentle man; a soft spoken Sergeant Major whose actions spoke constantly even if he did not; a husband; a father; a friend; a kindness that more of us needed to see; and a quiet competence that touched everyone and everything that came into his life .
. .he will be missed.
The family would like to express their gratitude to Sentara Hospital for their professionalism and kindness.
