Harold MYERS Obituary
He was preceded in death by his parents, Everett and Pearl Myers.
He retired in 1971 from the U.S. Navy as a Petty Officer. He was the loving husband of Dolores VanderLinden; and also a father and grandfather.

DAD, IT HAS BEEN 10 YEARS SINCE YOU PASSED AWAY AND THERE ISN'T A DAY THAT GOES BY THAT I DON'T THINK ABOUT YOU. YOUR GRAND DAUGHTER CHRISTINA CELEBRATED HER 10 YEAR ANNIVERSARY WITH ERIC AND YOU HAVE 2 GREAT GRANDCHILDREN NAMED ERIC AND SKYLAR. YOUR OTHER DAUGHTER PATTY IS SEMI RETIRED FORM THE TELEPHONE COMPANY AND YOUR OTHER GRAND DAUGHTER SARAH IS DOING GREAT WITH HER NEW JOB. Dad,
I hope there is a horsetrack there in heaven and that you win every long shot and that you and the guys that left before you are hanging out and playing poker together.
I know now that you know that I do and have always loved you even when we didn't agree. I will hold all our memories in my heart until we meet again.

Delores...everyone at York Village sends their love and support. This has been a long hard journey and both of you showed tremendous strength and determination throughout all the medical difficulties. Although it was hard to see you leave Yorktown, we certainly understood that you had a more pressing need at home. I hope to see you soon; my thought s are with you.
