So sorry to hear of your loss

MY CONDOLENCES TO THE FAMILY. I did not know Harry Charnock, but I'm guessing he might be related to my former student & Tangier native BONNIE L. CHARNOCK. If so, I hope your family can help me get in touch with her. I was her English professor at Christopher Newport College in 1965-67(when she was in the Riverside nursing school) and later visited Tangier & met her parents. The last I heard from her, she was married & had left Tangier. I would very much like to locate Bonnie. I can be contacted at (757) 238-9629 (Carrollton, VA) or e-mail: [email protected].
Thank you,

Dear William, I'm sorry to read of your brother Harry's passing. We were childhood friends and I saw you a few times when I returned to visit my mom in Hampton. We always liked the crabs you would bring over for our family crab feast. I will always remember Holt Street and your family living across the street from ours. Ahh, the good old days!!

I have been a friend to the Charnock family over the past 20 years, and am truly saddened to hear of Harry's passing. He was a soft-spoken man who loved his wife and family dearly. May he rest in everlasting peace. I know words can not do much in these circumstances, but I hope and pray for Mike, Kim, Scott, all the grandchildren, and rest of the family to have the strength and to receive the love to help them through this time of sorrow.
