Thank you heavenly father for sending the Holy Spirit to comfort, counsel, help, intecede, defend, strengten and stand by the Battle Family in this time of grief and sorrow. My father Mr. John Battle dearly loved his brother and digently took care of him after his house fire and continued to worry about him until he died. He says he doesn't haveto worry anymore because hs is resting in now.

For my uncle has left this sinful world to join my grandmother Ollie Battle in heaven. We will all miss you while thinking of the wonderful memories you left behind for us all to share. You go and rest now and know that your work here was well done. I love you uncle Haywood, myself and the family will make you proud.

I am sadden of the lost of Mr Battle. I will truly miss seeing him sitting on the porch as I go to my aunt's house (Barrett's) down from his home. He was a quite gentleman & he loved his neighborhood. E Lewis Rd has lost an Icon. God is taking care of him now.

My condolences go out to your family. Mr. Haywood, was always a person of good statue that I could depend upon for advice, whether it was about looking for a car or trying to get one fixed. I was shocked to hear of his passing. He was also a very good friend of my beloved Father, the late "Billy Dickens." My prayers are with you, he will be missed dearly.

Our heartfelt condolences go out to you and your family. "Haywoood" as we all called him was a good friend of my "late husband" Billy Dickens. He will be sadly missed in the days to come, as we look to our fond memories of him to keep us strong. May God continue to Bless You.
