Hazel COOPER Obituary

GLOUCESTER - Hazel Lee Cooper, age 81, died May 20, 2010 at her home.
She was born in Norfolk, Va., July 8, 1928, to the late Joseph and Nellie Harris. Hazel had been a resident of Gloucester since 1989, and was a member of Church of Christ. Her hobbies were needleworking, gardening and square dancing, and was a member of the National Square Dance Club, Old Dominion Chapter 13. Hazel was a wonderful wife, mother and grandmother and will be greatly missed.
She is survived by her husband, Dean H. Cooper; daughter, Reinette Springirth; grandsons, Scott Springirth, Mark Springirth, and Brett Springirth.
Services will be private.
In memory of Hazel, contributions may be given to Riverside Walter Reed Hospice, P. O. Box 1130, Gloucester, VA 23061.

Dean and Reinette, we are saddened by Hazel's death. She was a very dear friend. She will be missed very much. We had great times playing board games, camping and square dancing over mnay many years. You both, and the three boys, now have a gardian angel watching over you. With Love

I was so sorry to hear of Hazel's death. I have thought with great affection and pleasure of those wonderful days that our family spent doing so much together. Dear Dean and Reinette....so sorry to hear about Hazel...I am sure that she will be missed by all....Mickey and I have fond memories of our time in the the campers and the Dixie Squares. She loved dancing and having a good time with her friends.
