CHARLES CITY - Helen Mackey Bates, of Charles City, departed this life Nov. 4, 2010. She is survived by four sons, one sister, other relatives and friends. Remains rest at J. Leroy Charity Funeral Home. Services will be held at Union Baptist Church, Charles City, at 2 p.m. Monday, Nov. 8, 2010.
