Brother Porter and family:
Please accept our condolence in the death of dear Hermenia. I have known all of you most of The time we have been in this area. Our relationship go back to the 50s. We were in the same congregation for many years as you can remember.
We thank our Father Jehovah God for the comfort of knowing we will see our love ones again in his new system.Yet we still view death as the enemy that it is. Since we well know it's origin is with our adversary the Devil. One thing he cannot take away is our bond of love. So please accept the love of, Sisters Martha and Vivicea Higgs and the J, Stephen Belle family, Their three married daughters, The Elliott Chew's{Nicky} The Joey Escoe's{Kenya}and THe Orlando Elloitt, {DeAnna}. We love and cherish our many years of friendship. Always.

To The Family of Sis Hermenia Porter:
I am going to truly miss "my second mother". It is so painful that she is no longer here! I am truly devastated that I will no longer hear her encouraging words and see her smiling face of approval. I am at a loss for words. Bro Porter, Eric, Nita, Linda and to the rest of the family, please be assured of Jehovah's comfort and support and my love. I will truly miss her.

My Spiritual Family,
I want to extend my heartfelt condolences to all of you. I am going to miss Sister Porter's beautiful smile and her kind & encouraging words. Most of all I am going to miss being at the convention and not have the privilege of seeing Sister Porter there.
May all give comfort and support to you during this time of sadness. Sister Porter was definitely there for my family when we lost our parents.
That wonderful day will come when those protected in God's memory will be resurrected and all the injustices and pain have vanished from our memory. (Isa 65:17)
Until then, continue to draw comfort from God's promises as you worship with your spiritual family.
Bro. Porter and family, thank you for sharing a wonderful lady with so many.

To The Porter Family, Sorry to hear of the passing of your love one. I remember growing up how Mr. & Mrs. Porter would help with things for my great-great aunt Amanda, she was a charming, caring person. To the family be strong, and you know that you will see her on the other side.

"Sister Porter's departure has surely left a void in many hearts, especially ours. Her beautiful smile and uplifting words brought joy and sunshine to the darkest of times. Her work here in this system is done, she can now rest until the coming of the New Kingdom. Our prayers go out to Brother Porter and family in this time of sadness. She may no longer be with us in body, but she shall never fade from our memories, and always be LOVED!!!"

Minia will surely be missed! She has been my inspiration and spiritual advisor since I first left home. Often she would write while I was in the Navy and share a Divine Word giving encouragement when needed and filling the moments of loneliness.
I need not tell you, Dante, because you know you were given a treasure and for a little while you reaped the benefits, but now she has gone to be with Jehovah and He has wiped away all her tears.
Family, Barbara and I are in prayer for you at this transitional time in your life and look with great anticipation to celebrating with you the life of one who walked with Jehovah and who has departed these mundane shores.
