We were saddened to hear of Jim's death. Saw him in July and he looked great. He was an energetic community and college leader. He will be missed by all in Williamsburg.

Sad to learn of Jim's death, he was my fraternity brother at KA in the early fifties. He always had a tremendous amount of energy and an optimistic
view of life. I'm sure he will be leading the band in Heaven !

Jim was one of the first people I met when I moved to Williamsburg 10 years ago. He was a man of great energy and love for the community. Once he found out I enjoyed theater, he took me to a few venues and it came at a time when it was especially helpful to me. My best goes out to his family - those daughters are a fine legacy for Jim. His talent, wit, and intelligence will be missed. May your hearts soon be filled with wonderful memories of joyful times together as you celebrate a life well lived.

Jim introduced me to the world of Barbershop singing when I showed up for a Dukes of Gloucester Street rehearsal. I did not know he did that! He was a wonderful Drum Major and background organizer for the homecoming events with the Alumni Band. We all will really miss him.

I feel I can comment for many people that Jim will be remembered well for his many years of contributing to the Williamsburg we know today. We thank him!
