TO: Egg Man, Mattie and Family,
We were so sorry to hear of Jake's passing. Take comfort in knowing he has gone to a better place and we will meet him again one day. May God bless and protect you all during your time of bereavement.

To Mattie, Egg and Gwen:
We were glad to see Jake at revival services with a smile on his face, and that was the last time we saw him. Truly, God is a great and awesome God, and He will keep you during your time of bereavement. Keep the faith and hold on to God's unchanging hand. God will strengthen you during your time of sorrow. We love you and God loves you too.
Love Always,
Sylvia and Jimmy

May God bless each of you during this time of bereavement. Jake was a very nice man, my neighbor my friend. Oh I can remember the good times we had; I will all ways remember his old saying "JAKE JAKE THE RATTLE SNAKE".

In My Pocket
I have memories in my pocket.
They rattle among the change.
My memories of you are treasures I carry wherever I go.
They are stored in bits and pieces, parts of a beautiful whole
They give me comfort when I think I am alone.
Yes, I have memories in my pocket, like so much other stuff I keep there.
But of all the treasures I have, it’s the memories of you that are the most precious.

Jake will be truly missed at Powhatan Plantation. He was a very sweet man, I already miss here dearly.
May your hearts soon be filled with wonderful memories of joyful times together as you celebrate a life well lived. May god bless and keep you all. I do wished that there would have been a night time viewing. I can not get off work on Thursday to be threre. I was able to see him in the hospital and I am very grateful for that. Thanks!!! Cindy (Sweetie)
