I only served with Jim a short period of time at Ft. Benning and in Vietnam but really got to know him well through the Army Otter Caribou Association. He attended all the reunions and we enjoyed great camaraderie. Jim gave me a shirt like he is wearing in the guestbook picture. I'll treasure that as long as I live. My wife Clarice and I want to express our sympathy to Jim's family. We will miss him dearly.

We wish to express our sympathies to Jim's family and many friends. He will be missed, but not forgotten. His dedication to family and duty was admired by all he met. He knew no strangers, just people he hadn't met yet.

One can hardly beat Jim's service to his country and community during his lifetime. A true patriot who has "gone west" with many other aviation-oriented folks before him.

Pick and I are so saddened by Jim's passing. He was the most wonderful person, sweet and loving. Always there for you and always smiling. We use to see him at the VA meetings every month and then we always sat at the same table at Tet68 reunions, every year we looked forward to seeing Jim and his beautiful smile. Jim you will be missed so much. Love you always.
