Our death is not an end for we live on in the minds and hearts of our love ones and the people we have touched. Our bodies are only wilted leaves on the tree of life. For June will carry on in us. June is alive in all of us.

Dear Ms. Shelia
It was an HONOR to know Mr. James. He was one of a kind when it came to New Orleans. I learned so much from him, now you must keep me posted on all the events. Rest on Mr. James we loved you but God LOVED you Best. If you need us please feel free to call.

Shelia,
I am so sorry to hear of James' passing. I remember him offering you that "orange soda" at the Greyhound Bus Station in Hampton on the day you all met in August of '78. Who would have thought a lasting bonding relationship would come out of a chance meeting at a bus station. My prayers and thoughts are with you and your family on his passing. Until we meet again in passing.
An old life friend,
Marjorie Parker Mitchell
