I'm very sorry to hear about Jarin's passing. I truly enjoyed him as a youth usher at NBG. He always came in with a smile on his face. A very sweet and happy young man that I am glad I had the opportunity to know. By reading his many posts I learned that he touched many lives. Be comforted in knowing that many people loved him. Continue to lean on God to get you through this difficult time. Jarin will be missed.

I knew Jarin as a student of another teacher's class. He always wanted everyone laughing and joking right along with him. I remember him to be bright and always loving a laugh at anytime. He would even try to get a laugh, even when he was in trouble!
To Jarin's parents, family, friends, and classmates: Its hard to understand the work of the Lord. May the Father give you comfort, understanding, and peace that this life is temporary and there is a reward in the afterlife. Jarin is in Heaven looking down and watching over you as you continue to live this life in God's light and know that your reward will also come and you will see him again. God Bless You Always!

Just before I found out about Jarin's passing, I dreamt of the Dancing Shiva. For those who may not know, the Shiva is one of the three main Hindu Gods. I was afraid because She represents destruction, pain, and suffering. Fearing what was to come, I received the tragic news. While remembering Jarin, I cried and I laughed. But amidst my emotions, I feel a glimmer of hope. My hope comes from this image of the Dancing Shiva because She represents more then destruction and suffering. When her dance is complete, life is renewed, reborn. I believe my hope comes from a place in my heart and soul which has been touched by Jarin. The bits of his goodness in each one of us are not a result of this tragedy, but of his life. The pieces of Jarin in each of us must be nurtured and allowed to blossom. I am certain he is peacefully resting.

Jarin,
I really wish i would have had the chance to say good bye. Now all i have is memories and wishes that i would have at least called you often to see how you were doing. I remember meeting you in 7th grade. You were one of the reasons i looked forward to school. Great personality and a smile hard to not smile back at. Workin at McDonald's is a memory as well. You justy made everything so much funner than it really was and appreciated tjhe small things. Even though i'll be walking with Denbigh's class of 2010, i will carry a piece of your spirit with me. You will definitely be missed for now, but i hope to see you again someday.

I didn't know Jarin well, but what I did know of him was that he was a happy go lucky young man who knew how to treat a lady. He was kind hearted, respectful and looked up to by so many of his peers. It's such a shame to see such a wonderful young man gone so early. But his memory still remains and the way he touched people's souls is clearly evident. My heart goes out to the Sims family in this time of sorrow. I will continue to keep you all in my prayers. "And I heard a voice from heaven saying, "Write this down: Blessed are those who die in the Lord from now on. Yes, says the Spirit, they are blessed indeed, for they will rest from their hard work; for their good deeds follow them!" Revelation 14:13

I didn't want to believe it when i heard about what had happened, i was so shocked. We didn't talk that much, but it still hurts. Im going to miss seeing you at church, especially coming in that nice purple shirt, me & sarah's favorite : ) I know your in a better place and theres no need to be sad. Its gonna be hard, but we can make it through. Our goal is to now smile and not be sad, because we know you would smile for anything. You were sent down here to do the things God wanted you to do, and your job is complete. You have taught so many people, different things. Last night, i learned from you, that you should smile over even the little things in life. Im glad that you can now spread your pretty wings & look over us. To the Sim's family, i am here if you need anything, I love you. Jarin, its never see goodbye its see you later, so i'll see you one day so save me a good spot up there : )
Rest In Peace.

Mr. and Mrs. Sims,
My sincerest condolences to you and your family. We have never met but I share your grief and terrible loss. I know what it is to lose a child. You see, I lost my 20 year old son under very, very similar circumstances three years ago. The days, weeks, months and years will be difficult ones but know that God is an ever-present comforter. I pray that you will also find comfort in the many memories you have of Jarin. God bless.

As I remember Jarin, I remember all the great stories: such as his first Mother's Day present (to "be good"); the time I got the call from your alarm company that the house alarm was set off after Jarin, a mere kindergartner, scaled your 6' high privacy fence to drop off his school bag and grab a snack before heading to babysitter's house. In general, his positive outlook, pleasant and friendly personality and his resourcefulness are qualities we should all strive for and pass on as Jarin did. Rest in Peace Jarin, you will be greatly missed and you are greatly loved. Terry, Sabrina & Rebecca Chaklos.

Doug and Vanessa,
I was terribly saddened to hear of Jarin's death, yet, at the same time, it thrills my heart to know that he accepted Jesus Christ as Lord and Savior.
