There was a group of ladies several years ago that met in one of the game rooms and had a wonderful time chatting with each other. As the years past we all went our separate ways from the game room but keep in touch through emails. I never got to see Jeanette in person or even talk to her on the phone but I know she was a wonderful sweet person who was always interested in others. I was talking to one of the other ladies who knew Jeanette the other day and she was asking if I had gotten any emails from her lately. I told her I knew that Jeanette had not been in good health lately but usually if she had to go to the hospital she would send us an email when she was back home.
I want you to know how sorry I was to here of Jeanette passing she was a sweet lady who loved to talk and with all her limitations she loved life. May God be with you in your time of sorrow and know that Jeanette will be missed by those whose lives she touch.

Rickie, Brian and Dennis:
Your mom once sent me a note stating, "My friendship with you has been very special." The many years we spent together in church work proved those comments to be true on my end as well. She was loved by many and possessed a unique spirit that few have or can match. I shall miss her trademark smile and "update" phone calls. The hole in my heart will remain there until I see her again in glory. Remembering Hebrews 13:7, press on as God leads each of you as her legacy.
In HIS time,
Pastor Dale

Rickey, Dennis, Brian, Robin, Jamie and Benjamin: I cannot tell you how sorry we are. We loved Jeanette so much. She was very special to all of us. I know I am going to miss her calling me and keeping me informed on how things were in Newport News or just asking how we all were doing, especailly Archer! The 4th of July is going to be so sad this year, but we all know we have to continue on because that is what all of the brothers and sisters would have wanted. I am so thankful Moma and I were able to get up to see her the other day and spent that time with her. Always know we are here for all of you. We love you all and you will be in our prayers. Love Wanda and Danny

I had the honor of meeting Jeanette at the hospital when Alan died. Alan and I had worked together for years, and he always honored his wife to everyone. They were both wonderful people. God bless the family in their loss, glory in heaven for its gain.

Rick, Dennis, Brian, R0bin, Jamie and Ben - This is so hard to write but I must! I cannot tell you how many times Jeanette spoke of you all and how much each of you meant to her. You boys were her life, each in your own special way. The grandchildren - she just couldn't love more. She was so special - we cannot believe we won't have her for Christmas as we have for 50 some years or that I won't get to call her and bounce things off her regarding Momma. God will help us all get throught this time - you boys have nothing to regret - you were wonderful to your Mom. We love you - Sandra and Wayne
