Jen was a good friend of mine and our friendship went back to ISU in 2004. She was a great person and I couldn't have asked for a more understanding friend.

I am much older than Jen, but in many ways, she was more mature and older than me. I suffer from substance and alcohol abuse and Jen was always the the wiser one to tell me, Ann...THINK! She had been there and done that on most everything I talked to her about. I needed her and trusted her, so much. I am not sure what I will do without her being here. My deepest sympathy goes out to Jen's family and Sam.....I am soo sorry. Words cannot express how I feel :(

Benware Family,
Jen was an amazing woman who touched the very hearts of so many. I am one of the "so many". I "met" Jen a year ago in a special online group called CDBC. I went there because I needed help and someone to talk to. Jen was one of the first women there to greet me and welcome me with open arms! I will always hold her in a very special place in my heart!
Peace, Love, and Light

So sorry for your loss. I wish they would make stricter rules for bikes and mopeds , sadder that it is hard to be safe on these little metal structures and even the best driver isnt always safe.
