Jesse Beasley Obituary
Funeral services were held at Saturday, Nov. 21, 2009, at St. Margaret's Episcopal Church in Moultrie, with the Rev. Galen A. Mirate officiating. Interment, with military honors and Masonic Rites, will follow in Cobb Suncrest Memorial Gardens. Born June 18, 1943 in Hampton, Va., he was the son of the late Jesse Leake Beasley and Jeanette Manor Beasley. He had made his home in Moultrie for the past 15 years, and was a member of St. Margaret's Episcopal Church.
Survivors include his wife, Constance "Connie" Adams Beasley of Moultrie; a daughter, Shawn Adams Yeong Beasley of Moultrie; two sisters, Naida Laymon and husband, Jesus of Virginia, and JoAnn Beasley of Newport News, Va.
Memorial contributions may be made to St. Margaret's Episcopal Church or the American Heart Association.

Connie and Shawn: Hello, sorry to hear about jessie, i will always have fawn momories of Jessie in the Military and as a friend. Jessie was a great Soldier and wonderful friend. Many day has gone by since I have seen you and the family, but i always had you all in my thought's. We love you both, God Bless you and Shawnn during this sad time.

Connie and Shawn, I'm so sorry about Jesse. He was a wonderful man. I remember he always had a big smile that could make anyone feel better. Connie & Shawn, God needed the BEST pilot ever to fly him around....he picked the right one. Jesse taught me to fly so I could get my pilot's license and he took away my fear of flight. I'll always remember and LAUGH about him being "Arnie Poo-Poo" in all our MANY mini-golf outings and they had to keep shutting down the ski-lift when we went skiing in W.Va. with yall 'cause he & Bob kept falling off of it! It was NEVER a dull moment when we were all together and I will cherish those memories even more now. I'll STILL laugh, not cry. I just found out about Jesse from an email that Molly Oberlick sent me. I am so sorry to hear of your loss. I wish we didn't live so far apart. Please, know that you will be in my prayers. Connie and Shawn, We have never loved and enjoyed knowing anyone as much as we have you and your family. Our times together will always be a treasured memory for us. The first time we met Jesse, he made a "remark" about our Pom; we'll never forget the way he made us laugh and how much he enjoyed life. We know that you had true love for each other and Shawn; the first time Jesse saw Shawn, his eyes shined like stars and they were so full of love.
