Dear Family

We lived across the street from Jo Ellen in Carrollton from 1967 to 1976. We have many wonderful memories of those years. Our children played together daily. I know this is a terbile loss. We will be praying for the family.

JoEllen was such a peaceful and kind spirited person. She was never one to judge anyone, always accepting. We were so blessed when she married my cousin, John and became a part of our family.

JoOEllen had a tremendous impact on so many lives. To me she was a teacher, mentor, role model, confidante, and great friend. She had the answer to every question and the ability to convince me that things will be OK no matter what life threw at us. She was also just plain old good company and fun to “hang out” with. We shared many laughs and I am grateful for those memories. I was fortunate to have known her and will miss her for the rest of my life.
