He was preceded in death by his mother, father and two brothers and two sisters.
John Earl leaves to cherish his memory his wife, Ora Lee Alston and a host of relatives and friends.
Viewing will be held from 11 a.m. to 6 p.m. Friday, Sept. 24, 2010, at Cooke Bros. Funeral Chapel. Funeral services will be held noon Saturday, Sept. 25, 2010, at Macedonia Baptist Church, 5500 Marshall Avenue, NN, Va. Interment will follow in Hampton Memorial Gardens.
