We are saddened to hear of Mr. Hickey's passing. He was the longest standing and oldest member of our Lodge. We enjoyed the notes he would write each year when he paid his dues. "He has passed into the light which is beyond the valley of the shadow of death. The places that have known him shall know him no more; but his virtues are written on the tablets of love and memory.' To our absent member - The Benevolent and Protective Order of Elks, Lodge #1003, Virginia, Minnesota.

Our sympathy goes out to Mr. Hickey's family. He was a great guy always a gentleman. All of us at Yeargin’s Landscape Services (YLS Inc) are sadden by his passing. We appreciate having the privilege of serving him for the last 20 or so years. He will be greatly missed. We take comfort in knowing that he is now with his wife in God’s house.

I am saddened to hear of Mr. Hickey's passing. He was a very special person and I am priveleged to have had the pleasure of meeting him. I especially enjoyed our chats about his military service and his early years in Minnesota. I will continue to keep his family and friends in my prayers.
