POQUOON - Joseph A. Batcha, of Poquoson, passed away on Saturday, Feb. 19, 2011.
Born on Oct. 15, 1916, Joseph attended St. Kateri Tekakwitha Catholic Church in Yorktown.
He is preceded in death by his wife of 69 years, Anna; his son, Joseph; and two sisters.
He is survived by his loving family, his son, Gene and his wife, Linda; three grandchildren and eight great-grandchildren.
A funeral service will be held at noon Thursday, Feb. 24, 2011, at St. Kateri Tekakwitha Catholic Church. Interment will follow at Parklawn Memorial Park, Hampton, Va. Arrangements are by Weymouth Funeral Home. View and post condolences on our online guestbook at dailypress.com/guestbooks.
