Joseph COOKE Obituary
He was preceded in death by his wife, Clara Elizabeth Howard Cooke; two daughters, Rosalie Vashti Cooke and Etta Deloris Davis; and two sisters, Etta Deloris Davis and Florence Cooke Davis.
He leaves to cherish his memory three daughters, Joanne Lemon (Douglas) and Yvonne Cooke, both of Gloucester, and Rochelle Hudgins of Salisbury, Md.; one son, Joseph Hudgins (Sonya) of Philadelphia, Pa; 14 grandchildren, LaKia, Deshawn, Joseph (Shanna), Gina (Tyrone), Paula, Marjorie (Greg), Reginald, Cornell, Joseph, Terrell, Tyree, Anthony, Roger and Trevon; 17 great-grandchildren; one sister, Hazel Cooke Thompson of Philadelphia, Pa.; three nephews; two nieces; several great nieces and great nephews; other relatives and friends.
The funeral service will be 2 p.m. Thursday, Nov. 11, 2010, at the Bethel Baptist Church, Gloucester. Interment will be in the church cemetery. The viewing will be from noon to 6 p.m. Wednesday, at J.K. Redmond Funeral Home; and from 1 to 2 p.m. Thursday, at the church.
