Julius Lyons Obituary

TARBORO, N.C. - Mr. Julius Lyons, 83, died Oct. 31, 2009.
Funeral services will be held Saturday at 1 p.m. at the New Hope Missionary Baptist Church in the Dunbar Community with the Rev. Samuel Clemmons officiating. Burial will follow in the Eastlawn Memorial Cemetery with Military Rites.
He is survived by his wife, Aldean Black Lyons of the home; one son, Clinton Stephens of Tarboro; two sisters, Mary Lyons McDonald of Newport News, Va., and Ernestine Lyons Belfield of Rocky Mount; two brothers, Benjamin Lyons of Brooklyn, N.Y., and Kelly Lyons of Rocky Mount; two aunts, Eunice Lyons Starr of Durham and Clarethea Lyons of Battleboro.
A viewing will be held Friday from 2 to 7 p.m. with the family receiving friends from 6 to 7 p.m. at Dickens Funeral Service, Inc of Tarboro. dickensfuneralservice.com View and post condolences on our online guestbook at dailypress.com/guestbooks.
