June Olson Obituary

WILLIAMSBURG - June M. Olson was born on July 31, 1935, to John and Mildred Trinka Barta in Stark County, N.D. She married Harlan (Ole) Olson, of Regent, on Aug. 7, 1951, in Portsmouth Va. June volunteered for many organizations including Girl Scout Leader, the Library at the VA Hospital, King of Kings Lutheran Church in Fairfax, Va., King of Glory Lutheran Church, Williamsburg, and Prison Ministries. She was a devoted wife, sister, mother, and grandmother. She loved her family dearly.
June passed peacefully to our Lord on Nov. 6, 2009, with her devoted husband by her side.
She is survived by her husband, Harlan (Ole) Olson; daughter, Rae L. Hart (Cliff) of Greensboro, N.C.; granddaughter, Breanna Hart of Philadelphia, Pa.; sister, Nadine Kainz (Gerald) of Jamestown, N.D.; sisters-in-law, Marian Brecht, Alvina Oliver (Robert), Carol Bryer; brother-in-law, Francis Olson (Sharon); many nieces and nephews.
She was preceded in death by her parents.
Memorial contributions may be made to King of Glory Pre-School, 4897 Longhill Rd., Williamsburg, VA 23188 or to the Alzheimer's Association.
