June McBEATH Obituary

WEST POINT - June P. McBeath, 86, died peacefully on Thursday, Sept. 30, 2010, at Riverside Convalescent Center in West Point, Va.
Mrs. McBeath was born in Chicago, Ill., on June 30, 1924. She lived in Moorestown, N.J., for many years until her retirement when she moved to Williamsburg and lived in Kingsmill until 2005.
She spent her career at New Jersey Bell where she held various positions retiring as a manager in 1980. She loved animals, gardening and golf.
She received her bachelor's degree from the Ohio Wesleyan University in Delaware, Ohio.
Mrs. McBeath is preceded in death by her husband, George R. McBeath; parents, Margaret L. and William Huth.
She is survived by sons, Thomas W. McBeath of Marlton, N.J., George R. McBeath of Williamsburg; daughter-in-law, Molly B. McBeath; and granddaughters, Katelynn J. and Christine Claire.
A memorial service will be held at 7 p.m. Monday, Oct. 4, at the Williamsburg Mennonite Church, 7800 Croaker Rd, Toano, Va.
In lieu of flowers, contributions may be made to Heritage Humane Society, 430 Waller Mill Road, Williamsburg, VA.
