I remember you Dad, John, a handsome man. Bobby Ritter was my closest friend growing up.
It is always comforting to hear from old friends, and the sons of old friends. The last friend from Major Avenue would be Bobby Pearson..Karl's and my generation have mostly moved on, but memories are bright and sweet.
You were very thoughtful to write, Our whole family appreciates your note.
Thank you and God bless you.

It was a pleasure to be Mr. Jens' chaplain at the St. Francis Nursing Center. I will not forget his kind and cordial demeanor. May God's grace and strength be with his fine family during this time time of loss.

Karl Jens, Jr. a friend of my Dads on Major Ave, Nor. many years ago. The Jens family was "bigger than life." I remember Karl, Jr. as a younger man in the '50s. He reminded me of a young John Wayne--full of energy. Sympathy to all the family in the passing of a dynamic personality. God bless
