Katherine GODFREY Obituary
Katherine was preceded in death by her beloved husband, Garland S. Godfrey.
She is survived by her Children, Barbara Newton and husband, Buddy, Luanne White and husband, Charlie, and Wayne Godfrey and wife, Jerri. Katherine had four grandchildren and one great-grandchild.
There will be a graveside service held at 11 a.m. Monday, June 21, 2010, at Peninsula Memorial Park.
In lieu of flowers, the family requests donations are made to Calvary Baptist Church in Newport News.

I am so sorry to hear about your Mother. I want you all to know how wonderful that she was to my Mother, Elvin Collins. Mrs. Godfrey called my Mother and filled her lonely days with a friendly conversation. I will always be more than thankful for what your Mother did for my Mother. Mrs. Godfrey was so special.
