Kaythern Jenkins Obituary

HAMPTON - Kaythern L. Jenkins, 80, passed away on Tuesday, Nov. 3, 2009.
She was a native of High Point, N.C., and had been a resident of Hampton for 54 years.
She was devoted to her family and enjoyed handy work such as knitting and plastic canvas.
She is preceded in death by her husband, Dallas W. Jenkins Sr.
Surviving members of her family include her children, Shelia Culler and Gene Biesecker, Dallas W. Jenkins Jr. and wife, Melaney, and Thomas M. Jenkins Sr.; grandchildren, Sidra Santos, Shawn Lackey, Lesley Tonkin, Ashley Jenkins, Thomas M. Jenkins Jr., and Christina Carpenter; nine great-grandchildren; brother, J R Lackey and wife, Glendon; faithful friend and companion, Trouble.
The family acknowledges and extends a heartfelt thank you to a special friend, Judy Raynor.
Friends are encouraged to visit www.parklawn-woodfh.com to share memories and words of condolence with the family.
The family will receive friends Thursday evening, Nov. 5, from 6 to 8 p.m. at Parklawn-Wood Funeral Home. A celebration of Kaythern's life will be held Friday afternoon, Nov. 6, at 2 p.m. at the funeral home. Interment will follow in Clark Cemetery in Fox Hill.
Because of her love of animals, memorial contributions may be made to the local A.S.P.C.A.

I just wanted you to know that I have been thinking about you all week, and I will keep you in my prayers. I’m so sorry to hear of your Mothers passing; she always had a smile on her face for everyone.
